Zeitgeist: A Film for the Ages Since June 2007, the film “ZEITGEIST” has been sweeping the internet. It had received over 6 million views as of December 2007, making it one of the most popular online videos of all time. In fact, ZEITGEIST was the top video on Google Video in November and December 2007, and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Peter Joseph, the film’s creator, has claimed 40,000 to 60,000 hits each day on his website, ZEITGEISTmovie.com! In addition, ZEITGEIST received a “Best Feature” prize at the famous Artivists Film Festival in November 2007 at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood.

As one of the sources for Part 1 of ZEITGEIST, I was in attendance as a featured panel speaker, addressing over 650 individuals who shared an unforgettable evening. Peter and I have also done several radio shows discussing the issues addressed in ZEITGEIST, with me focusing on Part 1. The narration of the film has also been translated into several languages, including German. ZEITGEIST is indeed a global phenomenon! What is it about ZEITGEIST that has piqued the public’s interest? First and foremost, the film is extremely strong – and, secondly, its message is, to say the least, contentious! Because my work inspired portions of Part 1, I can only speak as an expert about the religious conspiracy segment.
Part 1 asserts that our modern religions, including and especially Christianity, are not “original” or “fresh revelations,” but rather remakes of old beliefs, particularly Egyptian faiths. With a combined 1000+ pages of intriguing study into the true meaning of religion, I have attempted to show that fact in my books, “The Christ Conspiracy” and “Suns of God.” Because of the great controversy surrounding ZEITGEIST, with forums all over the internet involved in passionate debates about the film, I have finally written an ebook discussing some of the parallels between Egyptian religion and Christianity. This new ebook is titled “The Companion Guide to ZEITGEIST, Part 1,” and it scientifically examines the alleged parallels between the Egyptian god Horus and the Jewish godman Jesus, including whether or not Horus was born on December 25th of a “virgin,” among other important claims made in ZEITGEIST.
There was so much study on this issue that I couldn’t fit it all into one ebook. I did, however, able to illustrate these key concerns in about 50 pages, including ancient resources in their original languages, with translations! Both the creator of ZEITGEIST and I believe that this information is critical in this day and age, in order to further cultural understanding and bring greater peace to the planet, as well as to provide insight into the workings of society’s elite, who may not have the best interests of the common man in mind. In this sense, we have taken the risk of exposing this sensitive and frequently contentious material to the public eye in the hopes of increasing global enlightenment. More daily zeitgeist will be coming your way.
